The OUIGOSWAP service is an exchange system between travelers: only tickets offered for resale by other travelers are displayed. And only if the price is between 10% and 50% lower than the current price on standard sales platforms.
To guarantee a competitive price, the displayed tickets are offered at a price up to 50% lower than the same day’s price of the same OUIGO ticket.
After Sales
Yes, you can go to ouigo.com under the "My Trips" section to exchange or add passengers or options after your purchase on OUIGOSWAP.
In case of cancellation or delay of your trip, all information is sent to you by email.
If you are unable to travel, you can:
- Offer, thanks to the Ouigoswap service, and under certain conditions, the resale of your OUIGO train ticket.
Your ticket will be put back on sale. If your ticket is bought by another traveler, you will receive compensation with a voucher of 80% of the amount of your initial ticket.
- Exchange or modify certain elements of your reservation (but not delete options and/or travelers).
When you list your trip for resale, it will not necessarily be published immediately for someone else to purchase. After verification, it will go live once its price is at least 10% lower than the current fare for the same trip (including name change fees). So don’t be surprised if you don’t see it available for resale right after your request. But no worries, you don’t need to do anything: as soon as this price difference is met, your trip will automatically be made available!
