Resale eligibility
The resale of your ticket is guaranteed if the "Resale guaranteed" status is displayed. The resale of your ticket is not guaranteed in other cases.
Resale guaranteed: this trip is in high demand, we guarantee the immediate resale of your ticket.
Waiting for buyer: your ticket will be put up for sale, but its resale will depend on the demand of a buyer.
Some tickets are not eligible for OUIGOSWAP, namely:
tickets with a reduced/special fare (military, police, SNCF retirees, groups)
tickets with the OUIGOFLEX option
tickets with the "Limited Comfort Overbooking" fare
tickets with the "Overbookink Seat not guaranteed" fare
tickets that include a connecting OUIGO - OUIGO journey
Paris-Brussels trips on OUIGO Traditional Train
tickets departing within 24 hours or less
tickets subject to a disruptive situation
resale tickets that are not priced between 10% and 50% cheaper than the same-day price for the same route
Putting your ticket on the resale platform does not guarantee its repurchase. For it to be purchased, another traveler must want to make the same trip as you at the same date and time.
As long as your trip has not found a buyer, you can cancel your resale request at any time from the Manage my resale section.
Additionally, any modification to your ticket will automatically cancel the resale. An email will be sent to you.
Yes, all OUIGO High Speed and OUIGO Classic Train trains are eligible for resale. Only Paris-Brussels trains on OUIGO Classic Train are not eligible for resale.
Any resale must be done for all travelers. You cannot resell the tickets of only one traveler.
In case of a connection with another carrier, only the OUIGO ticket can be resold. For the other ticket, consult the sales conditions of the second carrier.
Yes, you can offer the resale of your outbound, your return, or both.
When you put your trip up for sale, it will not necessarily be listed immediately for someone else to buy. So, don't be surprised if you don't see it available for resale right after your request. To be offered to new buyers, its price must be attractive! Therefore, it will only be listed when its price is at least 10% less than the current price. But don't worry, you don't have to do anything: as soon as this difference is reached, your trip will be offered!
Compensation
You receive a voucher only if someone repurchases your ticket.
You can use your OUIGO vouchers to pay for your reservation only on the OUIGO website and app. You can also use it for an exchange or adding options. Your voucher can be used once or multiple times, is valid for 12 months, and is non-refundable.
You will receive the code for your voucher by email. You can also find your voucher in the "Manage my resale" section
The amount of your voucher corresponds to 80% of the purchase price of your trip, including options.
Modification / Cancellation
If your ticket has not found a buyer, it is still valid if you still wish to travel or exchange it. Your ticket can be repurchased up to 30 minutes before departure.
